QA Automation Engineer
A QA Automation Engineer makes sure the apps and migrations Atlas Bench ships work before anyone outside the team touches them. You build automated tests for Forge apps and integrations, and write the test plans for configuration and migration work.

About the role
Testing here covers two kinds of work. Code: apps and integrations that need automated tests at every level. Configuration: workflows, permissions and migrated data that need a plan and a careful human.
You decide what is worth automating and what needs a person, and you keep the record of what was tested.
What you will do
- Build and maintain automated test suites for Forge apps and integrations
- Write test plans for configuration changes and migration test cycles
- Run regression testing before releases and cutovers
- Report defects clearly enough that they can be fixed without a meeting
- Improve the test tooling and pipelines the team shares
What you bring
- Two or more years in QA, with test automation
- Playwright, Cypress or a similar tool
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience testing APIs as well as interfaces
- Clear written English and Spanish
Good to have
- Experience testing Atlassian apps or Jira configurations
- CI pipelines in GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines
- Performance testing experience
