A dedicated environment, and the controls that come with it.
Atlassian Isolated Cloud provides a dedicated single-tenant environment with dedicated compute, storage, and networking, egress blocked by default, and customer-managed encryption keys. Our work is establishing whether isolation is the actual requirement, and designing the estate it enables.
Isolated Cloud is a single-tenant environment for organizations whose requirements are genuinely about isolation. It includes Cloud Enterprise features and Guard Premium by default.
What it is
Atlassian Isolated Cloud provides a dedicated single-tenant environment with dedicated compute, storage, and networking, egress blocked by default, and customer-managed encryption keys.
It is for organizations with genuine isolation requirements, and it is worth separating those from requirements that are actually about administrative control or data residency, which have cheaper answers.
What it does
Dedicated infrastructure
Compute, storage, and networking provisioned for one tenant.
Egress blocked by default
A meaningful control, and one that changes how integrations have to be designed.
Customer-managed keys
Encryption at rest under your control rather than the platform's.
Where it fits
L2, platform and migration, enabling most of L1. It arrives with Cloud Enterprise features and Guard Premium included, which means the identity controls are bought whether or not anyone configures them. That is the usual gap.
What we do with it
Establishing the actual requirement
Isolation, residency, and administrative separation are different problems with different costs. Getting that wrong is expensive.
Designing the estate it enables
Site structure, administrative separation, and what is governed centrally.
Configuring the identity controls it includes
Guard Premium arrives with it and is frequently left switched off.
Where it earns its place
A regulated organization with isolation requirements
Where the requirement is genuinely isolation rather than residency, this is the answer.
An organization told to upgrade without a stated reason
Establishing which control the requirement actually needs is cheaper than the upgrade.
Questions we get
Do we need this or Cloud Enterprise?
What does egress blocking change?
Licensing
It includes Cloud Enterprise features and Guard Premium, so part of what it costs replaces things you may be buying separately. That reconciliation sits with the rest of the estate in licensing and renewals.
