Customer Engagement, Atlas Bench

Book a call, opens in a new tab

Zack Hill runs customer engagement at Atlas Bench. He came to this work from the customer side of software projects, where he watched good tools fail because nobody had worked out what problem they were supposed to solve. That is the gap he works in now.

He is usually the first person a customer talks to, and he stays with them through delivery. Early on, that means helping a team get clear on what they need, whether a new platform, a migration, or a change to how they work is the right answer, and what it will cost in time, money, and disruption. He helps build the business case and shape the scope, then coordinates the people and pieces that turn a decision into a plan. Once a project is underway, Zack is the person the customer calls when something needs attention, and he keeps the delivery team and the customer on the same plan through go-live and beyond.

What Zack cares about is simple. Customers should understand what they are committing to, why, and what it will take to make it work. If a project does not make sense, he would rather say so early.
