A Senior Forge Developer designs and ships Atlassian Forge apps that customers install across their whole Jira or Confluence site. At Atlas Bench you lead the technical design of apps for customers and for AppsDelivered, our app studio.

About the role
Forge has its own constraints: invocation limits, storage, egress, scopes and the review Atlassian runs before an app is listed. You design within them, and you know when a constraint means the design is wrong.
You set the patterns the other developers follow, and you review the code that follows them.
What you will do
- Lead the architecture of Forge apps, from manifest and scopes to storage and resolvers
- Keep apps inside Forge's performance and cost limits as usage grows
- Prepare apps for Marketplace review and its security requirements
- Mentor developers and review their pull requests
- Own releases, monitoring and incident response for the apps you lead
What you bring
- Five or more years building production web applications in TypeScript
- Shipped work on Atlassian Forge or Connect
- Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS: isolation, limits and data handling
- A track record of mentoring other developers
- Clear written English
Good to have
- Experience building Rovo agents on Forge
- Experience with Marketplace security requirements
- Contributions to the Atlassian developer community
