A Cloud Platform Engineer runs the AWS and Azure infrastructure under self-managed Atlassian applications and the services that integrate with them. At Atlas Bench you build that infrastructure as code and keep it patched, monitored and recoverable.

About the role
Not every organization can move to Atlassian Cloud yet. For those that stay on Data Center, and for the integrations around Cloud, you run the infrastructure: clusters, databases, networking, backups and the monitoring that says when something is wrong.
You build with Terraform and treat a manual change as a bug.
What you will do
- Build and maintain Atlassian Data Center deployments on AWS and Azure
- Write Terraform for networks, compute, databases and storage
- Run upgrades, patching, backups and restore tests
- Set up monitoring, alerting and on-call runbooks
- Harden environments to the security baselines customers require
What you bring
- Three or more years running production infrastructure on AWS or Azure
- Terraform or another infrastructure as code tool
- Linux administration and PostgreSQL basics
- Experience with monitoring and incident response
- Clear written English
Good to have
- Experience running Atlassian Data Center or another Java application at scale
- Kubernetes experience
- An AWS or Azure certification
