What it is

Experiment

Confluence is testing simplified global and contextual create menus for some people. The global menu lists five common content types first and puts the rest under More. The contextual menu in the page tree drops a few options. The experience may change or be reverted.

Users

People in the experiment see Live Doc, Page, Whiteboard, Database and Slides first in the Create menu, with Blog, Smart Link, Folder, Space, Loom video and Agent under More.

Written from Atlassian's release note and checked against it automatically. Atlassian's original stays the source of truth.

Before it lands

  1. Tell your teams that some people may see a different Create menu.
  2. Point people to Create in the top navigation, under More, to make an agent or a Loom video.

What changed

  1. Added to Atlassian's release notes as coming soon
  2. First published by Atlassian

Atlas Bench began tracking Atlassian Cloud on 29 Oct 2026. Changes before that date are not in this history.

Fixed scope. The assessment reads the estate as it is: instances, schemes, licensing, and the decisions a migration would force you to make anyway. You get the findings, the ownership gaps, and the order to close them in.
