Users with the Creator role in Jira Product Discovery can now open the Templates library and create views from eligible templates. It is coming soon to Atlassian Cloud.

What it is

Improvement

The Templates library is now available to users with the Creator role, or equivalent permissions. A template can create a view when its required fields already exist in the space. If required fields are missing, the template is preview only, since Creators can't add fields by default.

Users

Creators can select Create a view (+) in the space's side navigation, then Templates, to create a view from a template whose required fields exist in the space.
